Group Therapy

What is group therapy?

Group therapy is a modality of psychological intervention that offers thematic and goal-oriented support sessions.

These sessions are designed to connect people facing similar circumstances, providing a safe and empathetic space where participants can share experiences and grow together. Each session is led by an expert collaborator, ensuring an environment of mutual understanding and support.

This approach facilitates the process of healing and personal development through group interaction and support.

Benefits of Wake Up Group Therapy

The healing power of speech

In group therapy, the act of verbalizing inner thoughts and emotions acts as a powerful healing mechanism. Sharing what is held within not only helps to alleviate emotional pain, but also prevents problems from being compounded by being repressed. This process facilitates healing, as expressing concerns in a supportive environment allows individuals to more effectively confront and resolve their inner conflicts.

Shining a light on our blind spots.

Group therapy offers the unique opportunity to discover aspects of oneself that are difficult to identify individually. Group members, by observing and sharing their impressions, can point out these “blind spots” that one fails to see oneself. This process enriches self-awareness and promotes personal growth by allowing individuals to better understand themselves and develop new perspectives on their behaviors and emotions.

The Mirror Effect

Group therapy acts as a mirror, reflecting our own experiences and emotions through the stories of other participants facing similar circumstances. This mirror effect not only facilitates empathy and connection among group members, but can also reveal patterns of one’s own behavior that might otherwise remain hidden. Observing how others handle similar situations offers unique and revealing perspectives that contribute to self-knowledge and personal development.

Listening is healing.

Group therapy highlights the importance and healing power of listening. Even if a member does not actively participate, the simple act of listening to others share their experiences can be profoundly transformative. This practice allows individuals to reconsider and broaden their own perspectives, providing new insights into issues they may not have explored before. By being exposed to different points of view and solutions to common problems, participants can find inspiration and insight in each other’s stories.

The Value of Experience.

Group therapy offers the benefit of being guided by therapists and collaborators with vast experience in active listening and accompaniment of people at various stages of personal development. This level of expertise enriches the therapeutic process, allowing participants to explore aspects of themselves and their path to awakening consciousness that they were previously unaware of. Expert guidance helps individuals navigate new emotional and cognitive territory, facilitating discovery and growth in a safe and structured environment.

Mutual support

Group therapy provides an environment in which members provide emotional support to each other, which is especially valuable when facing similar experiences and challenges. This exchange of support not only strengthens each individual, but also fosters a sense of community and solidarity within the group. By sharing their struggles and victories, participants can feel more understood and less isolated, which contributes significantly to their healing process and personal growth.

Types of therapy we offer

Wake Up Circle

Wake up circles are an open space to share from respect and presence. A space open to all those who want to look at the pain that blocks their lives, in order to transmute it into consciousness. A protected space where to get in touch with vulnerability, wrapped by the support of the group. A space of deep transformation. A space of silence.

Wake Up Meetings

Wake Up Encounters is an initiative designed to bring together people from diverse parts of the world in a welcoming and stimulating environment, where they can share their experiences and learn from each other as they embark on the journey of awakening consciousness. This space has been created with the purpose of facilitating the exchange of ideas, experiences and practices that foster personal growth and the expansion of consciousness.

Pathways of the Heart

The purpose of the Meetings of the Heart is to bring together people with concerns and desires to expand their consciousness.

The objective is to learn new ways of thinking, communicating and relating that will enable them to respond to the challenges facing human beings in the 21st century.

The meetings will take place once a month, via Online. We will also organize full day retreats in the Sierra de Madrid.

Who will conduct the Sessions?

Jai Arumi

Life pushes us to move forward even knowing that we are not going anywhere, and in that endless movement, each one of us leaves a drawing in the consciousness of humanity.

For years I felt that my life was just a meaningless scribble, but the moment I understood that it is Life who paints through me, I surrendered to the beauty of my path.

Now, thanks to the experiences I have lived, I can accompany other people who want to self-discover themselves in the fullness of BEING a HUMAN.

I followed soto zen meditation for years, until my path crossed with people who have had an experience of spontaneous awakening such as: Yolande Durán-Serrano, Aliciah and Sergi Torres.

At the moment I accompany people in individual and group sessions through the path of self-discovery that I have created and which I call ToBloom (to sprout).
