Thinking and Doing, the formula we use to solve everything<\/strong>, that’s the problem, we can’t solve everything by Thinking and Doing.<\/p> \n \n

The current mentality is a practical mentality, people function from mental reasoning and common sense<\/strong>, a pragmatic way of living life, and that is very good for the day to day, and to solve the problems that everyday life offers us. For example, if a pipe breaks at home, I think that if I call the plumber, he will come to fix it, I make the call and the matter is solved. <\/p> \n \n

The problem comes with the kind of issues that cannot be solved or healed by Thinking and Doing<\/strong>. Pablo d’Ors mentions in the video a case of extreme pain: the death of a child. What happens with that kind of problem? <\/p> \n \n

Facing pain is recognizing it in oneself, observing it and feeling it, not rejecting it. When you observe your pain, you are observing yourself, and as Pablo d\u00d3rs points out in the video, when we look hard enough, we realize that there is pain, but there is no harm, there is no external agent or subject that causes us harm, we are the ones who hurt ourselves. <\/p> \n \n
